Geodome tents
What's included when you book a glamping dome?
As many of our regular guests know, we’ve had a fairly similar setup since opening in 2015. While for most people, the bell tents offer a happy balance between camping and glamping, we know there are some that are looking for even more comfort or something for special occasions. Our new top of the range glamping dome tents from 2022 will offer more useable space, a proper raised double bed, a gas heater for the chillier months, and a small dining table. Each will have access to their own loo and shower, so no need to share with other guests.
The site will not be increasing in size – the two new GeoDomes will replace “Firecrest” and “Goldfinch” bell tents (the two furthest from the site entrance), and the site capacity for group bookings will not be increasing.
Comfortable double bed
We supply bedding for the double mattress. There are also two single futons in each tent.
A private flushing loo
No composting or sharing required! These are located next to the domes.
Gas heater
Each geodome is supplied with a gas heater to instantly warm up the tents on chilly days. There is also an outdoor fire pit with logs provided.
A private hot shower
Each dome has private use of a gas powered shower, located next to the dome.
Beautiful private location
Located on the Wiltshire Dorset border, the site is in an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). 11 miles from Salisbury, yet still easily accessible from London. No roads nearby, it's an entirely secluded location.
Crockery, BBQ Tools & Cafetiere
Cafetiere (coffee lovers will need to bring their favourite ground coffee), crockery, cutlery, corkscrew, BBQ tools, coolbox and ice packs in every tent.
Solar, fairy lights & candles
Solar lights outside, with each tent supplied with fairy lights. Candles & matches also available.
Table Tennis
Table tennis, badminton set, and loads of space for football (for anyone feeling energetic)!
Tables & Chairs and BBQ Area
Outside every tent is a table and chairs and a BBQ area. Most people use their fire pit and grill to do their cooking - however there is also a communal basic kitchen with a double hob.
A few little extras
Each tent is supplied with a radio, a pack of playing cards and a few good books. A couple of bottles of locally produced craft cider and marshmallows for toasting are also included.
