Short stays

One-night stays

Looking to escape for just one night? That is all you need.

Booking for one night

Need just one night?

Most glamping sites ask for a minimum stay of two nights, sometimes more. We had enough people asking about one-night breaks that we decided to offer them on weekdays.

There is a small extra charge on the usual nightly rate to cover the additional cleaning and turnaround.

It suits people who want an easy night away without having to bring half the house with them. Whether you are breaking up a longer journey, marking something low-key, or simply want a change for the night, everything is ready when you arrive. The beds are made, logs are provided, and you can settle in straight away.

The experience

One night is enough

We're tucked in a quiet spot in the Wiltshire countryside, well away from busy roads and bright lights. It's a small site with just a handful of bell tents and safari tents, so it never feels crowded. You'll have your own fire pit, proper loos and showers, and the kind of silence you only really get out here. No background noise, no rush, just fields, hills and sky.

One night might not sound like much, but out here it's enough. Time slows down a bit. You cook outside, maybe watch the stars for a while, and suddenly the world feels a little simpler. Then in the morning, you wake up to birdsong, stretch, and head off feeling better than when you arrived.

"We took our kids for a spontaneous last minute stay at Chalke Valley. While we were only there for one night, we all had a great time."
