Located in the pretty village of Bowerchalke, Wiltshire, our site allows you to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the English countryside while being just a stone's throw away from the world-famous Stonehenge. Our site is a 30 minute drive from Stonehenge by car.
Chalke Valley Camping offers four comfortable bell tents and two spacious safari tents. Our bell tents are cosy, and furnished with comfortable beds, soft linens, and a few little extras.
For those looking for a more spacious accommodation, our safari tents are the more suitable choice. These canvas tents feature comfortable beds, access to their own loo and shower, and their own wooden deck.

Discover Stonehenge
Stonehenge is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most recognisable prehistoric monuments in the world. A sunrise visit without the crowds is recommended if you can get tickets.
The site is also well placed for other day trips. Salisbury Cathedral is 20 minutes away, the Jurassic Coast around 45 minutes, and Longleat Safari Park, Stourhead Gardens, and Avebury stone circle are all within an hour's drive. Back at the site, the Cranborne Chase Dark Sky Reserve offers some of the best stargazing in southern England.
