Stag glamping
Campfires, pub walks & dark skies
Exclusive use of our secluded 3 acre glamping site in the Wiltshire countryside
The outdoor stag
Swap the bar for the campfire
Our site sits within a working farm on the edge of the Cranborne Chase, over half a mile from the nearest dwelling. Just open space, fire pits, and proper dark skies.
Cook on the BBQ, walk to The Horseshoe Inn through the valley, play some music, and sit around the fire until late. The site sleeps up to 24 across furnished bell and safari tents, with space for additional tents if the group is larger.
What to expect
A stag weekend that slows down
- • Arrive, light the fire, crack open a local cider
- • BBQ in the evening, table tennis, outdoor games
- • Walk through the fields to the pub (45 mins each way)
- • Stargazing under a designated dark sky reserve
- • Morning coffee and a slow start

"Hired out the whole campsite with friends for the weekend. Great facilities and very clean. Bell tents and Safari Tents were excellent and comfortable. Loads of space to enjoy games, BBQ, fire pit."

For the organiser
The practical stuff
Getting here
We're 11 miles from Salisbury and about 2 hours from London by car. There's parking for multiple cars at the entrance to the site, though we don't allow cars onto the site itself.
What about daytime?
There's plenty of space for rounders, football, and cricket. We have table tennis and outdoor games. The walk to The Horseshoe Inn is a proper afternoon activity through the fields (about 45 minutes each way). Electric bikes are also available for hire if arranged in advance.
Food and drink
Bring whatever you need. Each tent has a fire pit and BBQ grill, and there's a basic communal kitchen. We can also take delivery of an online food shop before you arrive for a small charge.
Sleeping arrangements
Six furnished tents, each sleeping up to 4. Two safari tents have a proper double bed, gas heater and private bathroom. Four bell tents have a double mattress and two single futons. Your group can sort themselves out.
What about smaller groups?
Completely welcome. We've had stag groups of 10 who prefer more space in the tents. You still get exclusive use of the whole site either way.
Can we bring extra tents?
Yes, additional pitch-your-own tents are £20 per night. Generator hire is also available if you want music.
Organising a sten?
We host plenty of joint celebrations too. The site works just as well for a combined hen and stag weekend. See our hen party glamping page for more.
